Falmouth Methodist Church
Our mission statement
Falmouth Methodist Church seeks to be the visible presence of God in our town centre, witnessing, worshipping, caring and serving.
Some information about us
We meet for worship on Sundays and midweek. We are engaged in various local community events, some of which are organised by us, some by others. Mawnan Smith Chapel is linked with Falmouth and have services on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday in St Michael’s in the village and are able to worship in Falmouth on the other Sundays.
Our Sunday Service is usually quite traditional in style, and led by a Minister or Local Preacher. We share communion monthly. We also have a café style worship on the first Sunday of each month.
Communion is shared with King Charles the Martyr on the first and third Thursday of each month at 10:30am. This is usually in the New Street Hall
We currently meet in King Charles the Martyr’s Hall in New Street. There is coffee following each service which is joint with the Anglicans. We have a group who meet at Princess Pavilions every Monday afternoon for Stitchcraft and fellowship and on the first Wednesday of each month the Wednesday Welcome group has an outing to somewhere local which usually involves tea and cake as well as fellowship.#
Following the sale of the Falmouth Methodist Church property on The Moor, the church is looking to acquire or build replacement premises more suitable for today's requirements.
We have Bible Study during Lent.
Please contact the Minister or Contact Steward regarding weddings, funerals and baptisms.
